"Chick" Corea is an American jazz keyboardist, composer, and bandleader. Besides his acclaimed jazz recordings, Chick Corea's most recent CD, "Plays," included some of his most personal songs. Corea's career as a jazz pianist started in the 1960s. He had his own ensembles, including the Akoustic Band, the Elektric Band, and the New Trio. Then, in 1986, he signed a record deal with GRP Records and recorded ten albums, including the Grammy-nominated "Change."
